Working with both traditionalists and contemporaries, Allie offers a wide variety of personal, bespoke services designed to honour those who have left us and support those who are left behind. Allie focuses on capturing the essence of the person, their values, their special relationships with friends, family and loved ones, and the achievements they most want to be remembered by. 

Memorial Services

A memorial service can be a meaningful way to honour and celebrate the life of your loved one. Unlike a funeral, a memorial service can be held at a later date, allowing family and friends time to make travel arrangements, including those coming from overseas.

Choosing a memorial service also provides an opportunity for families to move through the early stages of grief at their own pace, without the pressure of arranging everything immediately. With time to reflect and plan, a memorial gathering can become a deeply personal and memorable occasion.

There is no time limit on grief, and having the opportunity to come together with family and friends to share memories, offer support, and celebrate a life well lived can be invaluable.

Committal Service

A shorter service that takes place at the graveside after the funeral, where we lay your loved one to rest. This is often a private family gathering, away from the larger service, while refreshments are served.

Internment or Scattering of Ashes

A separate service that takes place after the cremation - often on a meaningful date or anniversary of passing.

Living Funeral

This is a growing trend that allows people to enjoy and celebrate their life before passing with the most important loved ones in their life.  Often, a Living Funeral is coupled with a milestone event such as a significant birthday.

Pre-planned Funerals

People experiencing life-limiting illnesses sometimes wish to be involved in planning their own funeral.  This can be an emotionally healing, even cathartic, experience, allowing them to reflect on and share their life, relationships, and achievements in a very personal manner.  

Fees and travel

As every situation is unique, pricing is tailored depending on the service. Allie works largely on the North Shore and the Hibiscus Coast in Auckland. Should you require Allie to travel out of Auckland, additional travel costs may be incurred. Contact Allie for pricing information.
